Just wow. What a scene. What a change over for the story.

I lived in New York for 2 years so I can assure you that this is quite correct.I thought all the stories about how dangerous it was and how many homeless people and rats were an exaggeration.

The BEST scene in the movie was his uncontrollable, Nazi, hand moving the wheel of his chair so that he's almost facing away from the camera. So much so he has to say "excuse me" in a low voice. Everyone (except the Russian Ambassador, who cracks a smile) seems to be oblivious of this and the camera just keeps on rolling when the viewers would think they would stop the shot, at any moment. Genius!

I actually do appreciate what they were trying to do here: Have a Judge like Dredd see what it's like to be on the wrong side of the law. See what it feels like to be "judged." If they expanded upon it more, it could have worked for the overall theme of the movie.

In one episode of that shitty "Xena," they talked about how Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee and Jet Li would get their asses kicked by the codeless forces of "Xena" and "Basic Instinct."
